Nowsud is a city & capital of Nowsud District, Paveh County, Kermanshah Province, Iran.
Nowsud is the first 3D seismic project that focus on shallow depth (lower than 500 m) in Iran. The aim of this project was identification of drilling path of water supply tunnel using TBM drilling device and geological feature in shallow depth to prevent geological hazard and make final technical decision for completing tunnel as soon as possible. The project area was very rough topography and maked big challenge in progress of project.
